In spring 2010, I recorded two new and completely different albums with two groups that I played a short European tour with in June. The first album is a jazz trio record called "The Art of Knowing" by the Paul Stranahan Trio. It features Paul on drums, Chris Herald on alto sax and flute, and myself on electric bass, with some extra guitar added on a few tracks. The second album is "Enter Entropy" by Red Side Visible, a jazz-metal group with Paul, Chris, and I again, alongside Tim Mirth on guitar and Tim McDonald on Tenor Sax. Once CDBaby processes our shipment, I'll have a link to listen to and purchace those albums.
The Art of Knowing
2010 - This is a jazz trio recording I did with Paul Stranahan and Chris Herald. Paul plays percussion and Chris plays alto sax and flute. I'm playing electric bass and some guitar on three of the tracks. All of the songs are originals by the three of us. "The Sun in the Drawer" and "Sybella" were written by me. Passage
2007 - My first full-length album of all original compositions. This album features myself on guitar, Bryan Thomas on bass, and Paul Stranahan on drums. The song "Traken" features myself on guitars and bass, Chris Herald on alto sax, and Pat Wagner on drums and percussion. "Passage," "Monderism," and "Midnight Walk" are solo guitar pieces.
